Charla Blanks
Children's Pastor
Charla is the Children’s Pastor, which looking back, she has been training for her whole life. She graduated from Missouri State, formally SMSU, with a bachelors in Elementary Education and then received her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mid-America Nazarene.
In 2001, she married her husband Ryan. In 2003, they started to attend Vineyard Church, where she immersed herself in the children’s ministry there and was able to use her education background to serve as Curriculum Director for several years. In 2008, she became the Children’s Director for the Vineyard Church, Brighton campus, and eventually transitioned into her current role as Children's Pastor at New Wine.
When Charla isn’t running the Kids Ministry, her time is filled by her two kids, Jake and Gabby. When they are not attending band and choir concerts or cheering at various sporting events, they enjoy spending time at the beach and watching movies together. Although her kids might say that she talks too much, the only audience she truly enjoys is a room full of kids.
