Sunday Morning Experience

Join us in the auditorium in the student section. We believe students benefit from attending main service to experience what it means to be part of the larger body of Christ.

Summer Youth Retreat: BOLD Conference
Join us this summer for an unforgettable youth retreat as we attend BOLD Conference in Overland Park, Kansas City!
Students entering 6th grade through graduating 12th grade are invited!
Dates: Tuesday July 21 (9am) - Friday July 24 (8pm)
4 days, 3 nights (overnight stay)
BOLD is a powerful gathering of students from across the nation who are passionate about pursuing God. Over three days, students will experience passionate worship, impactful messages, powerful moments of prayer, and opportunities to grow deeper in their faith alongside thousands of other young people.
Our prayer is that this retreat helps students encounter Jesus, build strong friendships, and return home inspired to live boldly for Christ in their schools, families, and communities.

We will provide transportation to and from Overland Park (approx. 40 minute trip one way).
We will meet at 9am on Tuesday morning and return at 8pm on Friday evening. We will keep parents updated on our progress to and from Overland Park, KS.

The cost of camp is $350
This includes everything - transportation, lodging, food, sessions, activities etc. Camp deposit is due by April 1st and must be paid in full by May 31st, 2026.

Parents, we don't assume you should bear full responsibility for the cost! Here are some ways you can empower your student to raise money for camp:

Parents, we don't assume you should bear full responsibility for the cost! Here are some ways you can empower your student to raise money for camp:
- Participate in New Wine Church hosted fundraisers (see David and Gabi for more info)
- Yard work for neighbors
- Dog walking or sitting
- Babysitting
- Pet lawn clean up
Packing
Bring a blow up mattress (twin size), a blanket (or sleeping bag) and pillow. You should consider bug spray, toiletries, a bible (hard copy,) note pad, water bottle, bathing suit, beach towel, gym shoes & gym clothes. A watch is helpful but not necessary. Students will not have their phones. If a student needs to contact home for any reason, they will be able to do so immediately with a leaders phone.

Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, knives, or any other kind of weapon.

Who are the camp counselors? David and Gabi Poole, Heath Lay, Sarah York and Leslie Driver. Each leader will be assigned 5-7 students to take responsibility for. Each volunteer has undergone a background check.
Why should I send my child to this retreat? We have heard testimonies that retreats like this have really been a catalyst in developing lasting love and trust with Jesus! We believe that retreats are one of the best ways to get your student connected. Lasting bonds between your student and other students, as well as their leaders, can form and continue throughout the year. Connections to Jesus and others is what the church is all about!
What will my child be doing? This retreat offers biblically sound teaching, and tons of fun activities for students. Students will participate in high energy programs and small group times to grow in their faith. In our free time, leaders will be planning fun activities for us all to participate in.
