Weakness is Strength

This week Pastor Grant delivers a powerful message on how we experience strength through weakness.

In 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, Paul begs God to remove the thorn in his side — not once, but three times.

God’s response wasn’t what Paul wanted.

Instead of removing the thorn, He said:

“My grace is sufficient for you.”

God didn’t take it away.

He invited Paul to experience a strength that could only be found through dependence.

What if your weakness isn’t the problem to solve…

but the very place God’s power wants to show up?

When you’re used to being “the strong one,” admitting weakness can feel like failure.

But Paul shows us something different — weakness isn’t something to hide.

It’s an invitation to grace.

The thing you keep trying to power through might be the exact place God wants to meet you.

Because when we stop pretending we’ve got it all together…

we stop carrying burdens we were never meant to hold

and we begin to experience real freedom in Christ.
